Notes:

Saw this on the side of highway (27) just south of Rome, GA ItÕs about 6Õ tall. What is it ? Looks like the Giant Hogweed from up North , but not sure. Never seen a plant this large, the flower part is over a foot wide

    It is elderberry. Fairly common wild plant in south MS. I have recently learned its ID, it is found on fence lines, roadsides, and yards. They can get 20 ft high!
