Notes:
The first two pics are two plants I would like to know. The third is not a plant; but does anyone know what it is? There were several thick mats of it in a storage house I built to be bug proof; or so I thought.

Thanks Stone. I’ll try to narrow down the species. Still wonder what made all those cocoons and if they made the cotton stuff or found it. The yellow flower may be aquatic. My lake was overflowing much of the spring and that area was underwater.
