Notes:
We live in the Middle Georgia / Macon area in Fort Valley. Our land is abundant in pine trees, virginia creeper, lantana and muscadines. This particular plant was found inside the treeline under many muscadine vines, in alot of shade. Originally thinking it was a shrub, I followed the leaves and stems to the root and found it swooped over and vinelike but not wrapped around anything or running as most vines do. If it’s a tree, it is a very skinny one… maybe 3 inches around at the base.
