Notes:

We just moved into a new home and the developer planted these trees at the entrance. at first we believed them to be leyland cypresses, but upon closer examination, the needles are more like a juniper. we cannot identify it. can you help?

    Maybe Japanese cedar (Cryptomeria japonica) or one of its numerous cultivars i.e. Yoshino, ‘Ben Franklin’, ‘Sekkan-Sugi’ etc… the trees cones can help to confirm or rule out this suggested ID.
