Notes:
We just moved into a new home and the developer planted these trees at the entrance. at first we believed them to be leyland cypresses, but upon closer examination, the needles are more like a juniper. we cannot identify it. can you help?

Maybe Japanese cedar (Cryptomeria japonica) or one of its numerous cultivars i.e. Yoshino, ‘Ben Franklin’, ‘Sekkan-Sugi’ etc… the trees cones can help to confirm or rule out this suggested ID. Copy and paste the included link below for the genus information. Click on images to enlarge. Best wishes!
