Notes:
This plant/weed pops up all over my yard. When I try to pull it, it seems that they all may be coming from a shared root system that veigns across my yard. I originally suspected that they were seedlings from a tree that was cut down before I moved in but they keep spreading everywhere.

Looks like wild persimmon tree. The are trees but spread by underground runners & are hard to impossible to just pull up.
