Notes:
Pale pink 5 petal flowers on woody stem. Bush about 6 feet high. Flowers in March in PA along with forsythia. Flowers arise directly on stem across from each other. Flowers before leaf. Stamen yellow at tip, pink at Base of stamen. Flowers are one inch across. Delicate papery thin petals.
