Hornbeam acalypha. http://www.illinoiswildflowers.info/weeds/plants/hb_mercury.htm Annual, really not that bad… When compared to chamber bitter and fatua villosa… Or Florida betony or nutsedge. In comparison.. The acalyphas are not worth complaining about…. Just try to remove it before it drops those seeds… Better not add that one to the compost…
