Can anyone identify this very short weed? Mowing doesn’t touch it. It has very tiny seed clusters and has proved to be very difficult to control. Thanks for your help!

A pennywort, in the same family as dollar weed. Tough to control nuisance in damp shady areas of all turf varieties. Only persistence with labeled herbicides will manage it. Eliminating shade and damp soil will be necessary. Forget about every 6 – 8 week apps. They help but you will need midterm spot treatments. I am still seeking an exact ID of this variety.
