Notes:
Growing at the woods’ edge on Long Island, NY. My sister says it will get a white, elongated cluster of flowers. About 4 feet tall when photographed. I was thinking it might be Lizard’s Tail (saururus cernuus), but it is not a swampy area. It does seem to spread underground. She wants to know if it is invasive and should it be destroyed? The patch does get bigger each year!

Thank you for your response. So much for hoping it was not an invasive! Oh well. I’ve informed my sister that she will have to continue the fight against this.
