Notes:
I live in Snellville, Georgia, and this plant has started to take over my yard! It grows prickly spikes in the spring and hurts to walk on it. What is it, and how can I get rid of it permanently?

Thank you! I just sprayed all of it in my backyard cause it was hurtin my dogs’ paws to walk on and I was tired of getting pricked pickin them. Glad to know what it is now.
