Notes:
There is a row of barbs on the center leaf spine only……such a significant feature that I can’t find any mention of!

Maybe a species of teasel (Dipsacus). This might be fuller’s teasel (Dipsacus fullonum)? According to sources, some plants have prickles perhaps to protect them self from foraging critters. But I’m not an expert on teasel. Check it out and see if you have a match. Best wishes! https://www.google.com/search?q=dipsacus+in+oregon&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiplp7uybfMAhVFSSYKHb7QAswQ7AkIOA&biw=1545&bih=909#imgrc=QqTthOZ8d8M_nM%3A

It seems to be some kind of thistle, but I couldn’t find one that looks like yours. Good luck.
