I have been unable to identify these flowers blooming on a tree trunk in the Tampa, Fl area

    You’re welcome Carl! Sorry for not seeing the leaves, they were actually on the upper left & lower right corners. Yes, they do look like those in the Bryophyllum genus. I was taken by the plant’s curious growing habit and failed to notice the leaves. Thanks to your post, we can see these plants with a very odd habit indeed. Best wishes! Laura
