Notes:

This sprouts in 5 places in the flower bed. It has gotten several feet long and 3 or mor stalks shoot out of the same area. Stalks are very tough and you can pull them by hand. I have tried digging it up with no luck. Do you know what it is and how to kill it?

    I think Bobby could be right. Ash’s leaves are opposite, the leaves in these two pictures are alternate like those of wisteria. Although it’s tough without flowers.     I concur, looks like Wisteria, or could be black ash… Or several other plants… You need a much clearer photo to be definitive.
