Notes:

I saw this vine growing up a tree near Decatur, GA. It has small red and pale white flowers that hang down.

    Thanks. That looks like it. I may have mistaken the growth habit. Since it was growing in such close proximity to the tree, it looked like a vine at first glance. I’ll take a closer look the next time I’m by it. Thanks for your help.

    USDA does not indicate that Celastraceae Euonymus kiautschovicus grows as a vine. My guess is this must be a cousin within the bittersweet family. http://tcf.bh.cornell.edu/imgs/dws/r/Celastraceae_Euonymus_kiautschovicus_16862.html
