Grows less abundantly in the same area as curled dock and sour dock (red sorrel). flower stems branch off main stem at near 90 degree angle.

Thanks, Bobby. I’m convinced. Seems like obtusifolius is a better description than round-leafed. The site to which you referred, told how to grow it. I can’t imagine wanting to do that.
