Notes:
At first I thought this was wysteria and I was going to cut a piece off to root. But when I got closer I realized that though the leaves and the fact that it a vine are similar to it the flowers are completely different. I found this growing in a marshy area next to a river. it is beautiful but I would love to know what it is before I root it and plant it in my yard.

looks like Chinaberry tree (Melia azedarach). It is considered an invasive species. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melia_azedarach
