Windmill Palm – Pods on the Trunk
Q: My windmill palm is blooming, with pods growing from the top of the trunk. Is it a good idea to remove them so the tree isn’t putting all its energy into flowering?
A: You are correct, removing the seed pods will conserve growing energy for your palm. Clip the flower stems off at the base when seen each year.
