South Africa Trip 2014 – Animals

South Africa is in the southern hemisphere, so the further South you go, the colder it gets. That explains the penguins near the Cape of Good Hope!

The Pilanesberg Game Reserve covers 215 square miles and contains 7000 South African native animals. We woke at 5:00 a.m. for a dawn animal viewing and did another one for three hours around dusk.
