Can I Plant Centipede Grass Now?
Q: Is it okay to plant centipede grass now?
A: You can plant centipedegrass sod now but you don’t have enough time for centipede seed to germinate and spread before the weather cools off. Then you won’t have anything to hold the soil down in winter. Keep in mind that the best time to plant this grass seed is late May.
