Notes:
These grow in about clump, have reached about 24″ before being cut down. The separate seed groups came from about 16″ plant & seed (pod) is 3/8″x 1.25″ Thank you for your time

Have you looked at the annual rye plant? Those seed would be the right number per stalk but, they have a small hair growing from the end of the seed.

Looked at them and mine do not have red base and the leaves are not shinny. I have been trying to find a match for the fact that the seed bunches group in 2s per seed stalk. Thanks, though.
