Notes:
This shrub bloomed in May. It has pink tubules from a hairy white center. The shrub is about 12 feet tall at this point. The gardener said the foliage looks like crepe myrtle, but the flowers most definitely are not.

Thank you Laura735! That’s it. I originally thought it was some form of honeysuckle. I did a little research on the beauty bush, and the pictures I found are exact. It needs some pruning because it’s been left to grow wild, but I think I can get it tamed. Thanks again!

Maybe a type of beauty bush (Linnaea amabilis formerly known as Kolkwitzia amabilis). This might be Linnaea amabilis ‘Pink Cloud’.
