Southeast Asia (Cambodia, Vietnam) – Trip Announcement
I have always been curious about Southeast Asia. My only exposure so far has been the disturbing nightly news on TV in the late ‘60’s and National Geographic magazine articles. I have wondered how Vietnam has changed from our national foe to a valued trading partner. How do people along the Mekong river live their lives in a culture that is thousands of years old and that’s so different from ours?
These questions and more will be answered during my spring garden trip! We’ll visit jungles, temples, and beautiful scenery from the comfort of a luxurious river ship.
I’ll be hosting the trip to Southeast Asia on February 19 – March 5, 2019!
But here’s something you need to know: I have already sent an announcement to folks who have accompanied me on trips to England, South Africa, New Zealand, Italy, etc…and there have already been several sign-ups.
