Woodchuck – Trapping
Q: We have a woodchuck family located down by the wall of our house. I have safe traps, but I’m not sure what bait would work best. I’ve heard certain fruits would work for the woodchuck. I’m also open to other methods of getting them to leave and locate elsewhere.
A: I’m not a woodchuck control expert, but the instructions here seem reasonable
Note that they do not recommend bait.
On the other hand, the folks at Havahart Traps recommend cantaloupe bait
