Unfortunately, the tree is covered in ivy so I can’t see the bark. Was wondering if it was a birch or something else. Can it be identified by just the leaves?

I’m not sure, but check out these included links for Mulberry (Morus) species and see if you have a match. The first one is for the white mulberry (Morus alba). Click on images to enlarge. Best wishes! https://tree-species.blogspot.com/2011/04/white-mulberry-spring-flowers.html?m=1
