Notes:

This year some slimy stuff appeared in my back yard. It is real slippery when wet and when it is dry it is hard and crunchy when you walk on it. What is this and how do I get rid of it.

Black / green slime. Green when wet black when dry weather. We raked it up many time, limed heavy and air rated yard. This has spread from front yard to back yard. ItÕs taking over

Probably a slime mold. You can try scraping all of it up when it’s dry and disposing of it, but as wet as it’s been this summer it is likely to come back.
