Notes:

I have three of these bushes in my front yard. I’m trying to determine what type of bush they are and then what is up with the leaves on the one bush that have the dark splotches.

Bottom photo- Maybe a type of Rhaphiolepis, possible the Indian hawthorn (R. indica)? Again flowers are needed for a confirmed ID. For now check out Walter’s link for Entomosporium leaf spot on Indian Hawthorn. http://www.walterreeves.com/gardening-q-and-a/indian-hawthorn-leaf-spot/

Without flowers to help narrow down, I’m guessing for now. Top photo- If the leaves are evergreen, it maybe a type of privet (Ligustrum)? Possible a cultivar in the Japanese waxleaf privet (L. japonicum)? Flowers are needed to confirm or rule out this suggested ID. When it blooms and you still don’t know, please make new post with flowers photo. Click on the images from the included link below to enlarge. Best wishes! https://landscapeplants.oregonstate.edu/plants/ligustrum-japonicum
