Notes:
We have a couple these that have been trimmed as hedge shape shrubs for many years. An additional seedling sprouted “back in the woods” many years ago and has grown about 15 ft. tall. There are several “trunks” coming from a common “base” and the green foliage starts about 3 ft. from the top…where it could get sun. We are trying to rehabilitate that area and want to save this “plant” if we can. What is it and how may we prune it to something around 6 ft. tall?
