Notes:
It branched off of a brown trunk like rooted system. The stem was actually a red color, the leaves had rounded edges and were kind of an oval shape. Seemed like a vine.

It is hard to tell with the screen reflection & shiny wet leaves, so I’m taking a stab and suggest maybe a type of persimmon (Diospryros)? If this is growing wild on its own then it could be the American persimmon D. virginiana. Link below is for D. virginiana, click on leaves images to compare with yours. Or you could check out other species in the Diospyros genus. Again, I’m only speculating. Best wishes! https://www.google.com/search?q=american+persimmon+young+leaves&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjjvfTxl7PPAhWCQT4KHffoBLgQ7AkIOw&biw=2144&bih=978&dpr=0.9
