Notes:

This flowering tree seemed to bloom overnight ! The bees are buzzing madly with the occasional butterfly stopping to nibble and move on. From a distance and first glance, I thought it was a red bud tree. With camera’s macro lens, not at all ! Flowers are tiny with four petals each, seed pod looks like a cupped hand and the flower’s center resembles the azalea family. After several google image searches with key words, no luck in identifying this gorgeous creature. Please help !

Thanks for including the seedpod. It is Mexican Buckeye, Ugnadia speciosa. Spring bloomer, great tree!
