What is the evergreen in the middle of the picture, this is in Gibbs Gardens outside of Atlanta, well worth visiting!

It’s too far to tell. I’m taking a guess for ‘the evergreen (tree?) in the middle’. Check out the Slender Hinoki false cypress (Chamaecyparis obtusa ‘Gracilis’) and see if you have a match. Again I’m purely speculating, we need a closeup of its leaves to tell more. Check out the included link, click on image to enlarge.
