Notes:

Growing on the North side of my Central Florida property in a sun and shade situation with tall trees overhead. I would like to seed the bare areas with the same type of grass if possible.

One other person said it looks like bahia. It has no seed heads that I’ve ever seen. My property has different types of grass including bahia, bermuda and a bit of zoysia. I am planting common bermuda in the sunny areas. My inquiry was to find out what grass is in the photo and also get a recommendation for the best seed for sun/shade in Central Florida. Thanks.

Look around the edge of yard to find some unmowed spots of this grass. Look for seed heads. Re-post with pictures of the seedheads
