I just noticed this orange fungus on the truck my cedar tree, and it is on some branches as well. Is this something that I can be cured? Does the tree need to be removed? Should I ignore it? Will it spread to any other plant/tree?
Thank you!

I’m not a mushroom expert, and wondering if this maybe a fungus that found on decaying conifer woods, the Orange jelly/ Orange Witches Butter fungus (Dacrymyces chrysospermus)? Check out the included links for more information. I suggest you should try the expert on last included link for a confirmed ID.
If this is D. chrysospermus, the site below can answer some of your concerns of. Best wishes!
