Notes:
This large leaf plant is growing in a stand of pine trees and scrub brush in my backyard. I cut another one down last year at the trunk was woody, but hollow inside. Once identified I would like advice on how to prevent its return.

Just keep pulling out, digging up, cutting down…it’s quite invasive but persistence will win.
