Notes:
This is a cut section of a tree growing in the yard of a house I just purchased. It’s green now and I noticed these apple-like growths on it, which are soft and fuzzy to the touch. Can anyone help me identify what this is? I at first thought it was a crab apple tree but I’m not sure. Thank you!
