Notes:
I found this great plant at the entrance to the Atlanta Zoo. It was approximately 15 + Feet tall in a bush type form. I took these pictures 10/28/18 and yes in full bloom. Flowers were on the stems and the leaves were about 4″ long. They usually have plaques for the plants this was on 2 sides of the building out front neither had a name. What a wonderful looking species! Thanks for the help

It is Orange Supreme Osmanthus. The native species have tiny white flowers on them. Bloom time — first flush of blooms in October, then sporadic thru Spring. The fragrance is heavenly… Only takes a few branches in a vase to fill the air with sweet perfume.
