Notes:
This tree was already growing in our front yard when we bought the house. The trunk of the tree has doubled in size in eleven years and the same for the diameter of the crown. We would like to know what kind of tree this is. It does not bear any fruit & the only way I have propagated the tree is by new shoots from the branches. The bark is “corky” in appearance. Thanks for any help.

Can’t tell for sure with the leaves jumbled together like that, but it appears to be box elder.
