Notes:
I planted 5 pink knockouts about 10 yrs ago. One has always been different than the rest. The blooms are more red than pink, the leaves are darker and the new shoots are redder and covered with small thorns. I just pruned them and realized every joint throughout the shrub has a few inches at the joint covered in small thorns. The flowers are normal (just redder than the others). The third picture was taken in October 2018). Please tell me this is not rose rosette!

It’s hard to tell from the second photo whether the leaves are deformed or not. According to sources, red deformed leaves from rosette disease do not change to green. Best you try the rose experts from the Greater Atlanta Rose Society. Best wishes! https://atlantarose.org/become-a-member-join/
