Notes:
I found this small plant growing in a parking lot and decided to take it home, although I haven’t been able to tell what it is. Its leaves are somewhat thick and are almost reminiscent of a succulent (?), and especially near the bottom, it has a bit of a purplish tinge. It closes its leaves at night and opens them during the day, and it’s grown about an inch in a couple weeks, and I’m not sure how large it has the capability to grow.

That looks like a jade plant.
