This tree is planted in the backyard of my son’s new home in Augusta. It is not a tree my husband or I are familiar with. What is it, please?

I’m speculating maybe a type of ash (Fraxinus)? If this is indeed an ash tree, I’m leaning toward white ash (Fraxinus Pensylvanica). But I’m not an expert on this genus, and only guessing .
