    This might be some type of madrone / strawberry tree (Arbutus). There are numerous different species and hybrids. The bumpy fruit in your photo does look similar to Arbutus’ fruits. You could try to narrow down its exact ID, although images on the web can be confusing. There are plenty of good sources on Arbutus to look for. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arbutus
