Bald Cypress, fine native tree for use anywhere in Georgia. Deciduous! GC Parks will typically only plant natives, so Coast Redwood—out of the question!

If the needles are opposite and turn brown and fall off in the fall, then it probably is a dawn redwood. If it has alternate needles and doesn’t lose its needles in the fall it probably is a coast redwood.
