Notes:
Small bush/tree that flowers early every spring. Beautiful strong scented flowers that smell almost like a hyacinth. Located in Fairfield County, CT. Bush/tree fans out like a forsythia with no real upright growth.

Looks like a type of viburnum. This might be in the Viburnum carlesii group (Koreanspice viburnum).
