Trying to find out what kind of ivy this is and if it is a type of poison ivy.

Pretty ivy. It is a safe ivy as it will not cause a rash. Grows like crazy. Looks like English ivy to me.

This maybe a cultivars in in the juvenile growth stage from the English ivy/common ivy (Hedera helix) species. Check it out and see if you have a match.
