Walter, I have five of these trees that are close (within a few feet) of each other. They have multiple trunks, but often start with just one truck, then split into three or four. The bar is scary looking. The branches to not grow like those of a regular tree. The tree is maybe 15 feet tall. I have no idea what kind of tree it is. It is currently budding, and will leaf out in a couple of months. If you do not look closely, the tree with all its leaves is kind of pretty.
