We bought this as a shrub and have lost the tag. We are ready to plant and need to know how much shade it can tolerate/how much sun it needs. Thanks!

This might be some type of Potentilla or shrubby cinquefoil (Dasiphora fruticosa). From what I learned full sun is best for blooming with some afternoon shade to keep the colors from fading.
