Notes:
I am in Coastal South Eastern Georgia. This plant is all over my yard like a weed. The leaves are skinny and they along with the stem feel velvety soft. I have no idea what this is.

Maybe a species of the Gamocheata genus (?). If this is of the genus, I can’t the tell which species this is. Check out these included links for G. purpurea (purple cudweed/poonleaf purle everlasting), and G. pensylvanica (Pennsylvania cudweed) to compare.
