Can this tree be grown in Atlanta? In the 1990 edition of Manual of Woody Landscape Plants, Michael Dirr is just beginning to experiment with it. Is there a later edition with results? Is there any other information?

I planted an Arbutus Unedo three weeks ago, and it does not seem very happy! The leaves are turning brown and some of them break off when I bend them. Any advice? Thanks,Lee Carroll
