    I live in Dayton, Ohio and I found one yesterday with multiple green eggs. Didn’t touch it. Just left it nesting on an upside down foam cooler that was left on a chair in the back yard.

    hey this is so wild ! yesturday morning I found the same white furry caterpillar on a water bowl outside for our cat. my instints were don”t touch it. I gently moved it…I live in clarkston ga. I have never seen a white caterpillar . peace martha

    Well, I don’t see the black spots down the back that are typical of the hickory tussock moth caterpillar but would leave it alone just the same since it otherwise rather resembles it, as that caterpillar can cause a rather nasty allergic reaction in some people.
