Notes:
It starting growing out of a peace lily plant we had. I re-potted it just out of curiosity. What to see what it would grow into. It looks like a weed with a very thick stem. It is growing very fast.

Flowers of Tillia (basswood) have bracts & cluster are facing down, the plant’s flowers in the pictures don’t have bracts and appear facing upward (although details are a bit blurry to see more). According to sources, it takes about 8 years or more for Tillia seedlings mature enough to bloom.
@ Wronacatraile could tell us how old is your specimen please?
