Notes:
We received this in a house arrangement. I thought it was some type of an elephant ear so I planted it in the yard. That was about 6-7 years ago. It blooms in late spring (blooming now April 27) dies back in the summer then comes back out in the fall and stays green all winter. When it snows it droops but then stands back up after the thaw. Freeze does not bother it. The bloom looks like a bug catcher but I never see any on or in them. It has multiplied as seems to like it’s spot.

Thanks Witchazel. After reviewing different sources I agree with your info. Now I can pass on the name to those that ask what that different looking plant is.

It looks like one of the Arum’s but I’m not sure which variety. Maybe Arum italicum ssp. albispathum? https://www.google.com/search?q=Arum+italicum+ssp.+albispathum&biw=1023&bih=490&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiygv62rrTMAhVGVywKHQPaAQgQ_AUIBygB
